I sent a couple messages a day or so ago that did not get to the recipient. I luckily found her through other means/contacts and was able to complete the transaction via DB.

If I was selling on LT, given the unreliability of messages getting through, I would include an email address in my listing to be contacted by prospective buyers.

I've sold 4-5 items over the past couple of weeks but haven't received one single message through LT - although I've been told that at least three separate people sent me messages through LT that I know of. I only found out about not receiving the messages when I started getting direct emails from some of my regular buyers/friends, who already had my contact info. I haven't actually received anything direct through LT in weeks, though. Usually when this happens, I do eventually get the LT messages forwarded to me, sometimes many of them all at once, weeks late - but that hasn't happened yet. Not sure what is going on, but I'm including my email addy in my listings now. In fact, after having this exact thing happen to me 2-3 times now, I think I'm going to just include it in all listings all the time. I'm so paranoid about missing emails, it is probably the best thing to do.

I had the same thing happen a few months back when I wanted to buy an emerald ring that was listed. Luckily I had the seller's email address already.
