Hi all,
I'm trying to figure out the cut of the diamond from this antique art deco ring.
Do you think it's an OEC? I wish I had better quality pics but the seller is unable to take more at the moment
Any help would be truly appreciated! Thank you! :)

Hard for me to tell from those pics.

I see a petal but not a culet facet. Perhaps, it's a late OEC/ transitional?

What are the approximate dimensions (i.e. is it a deep stone).

If there is a good return policy-it might be worth a look...

Thank you for your reply! :)

I also wish there were better photos but the seller does not seem fully aware of the info of the ring itself.
She says it was inspected by a jeweler but the only info provided in the listing is the approx. year of 1910, 0.25ct at H-I color range and a clarity of VS2.
I'm thinking that this might be one of the early forms of the OEC, but not so sure either.
There is a return policy so should I give it a go?

If the price is right!

I would not buy it without better pictures because I am seeing signs its 1910 style not 1910 age.
I'm not saying it is or isn't for sure but I would want better pictures.
These days even a cheap cell phone would take better pics than that, so why are they using such bad pics?

I think if you like the ring/stone and the price is right then buy it. However, if you are really hankering for an OEC I would probably
hold out for a stone that was a little more OECish (mainly a culet).

Edit...I think its a pretty little ring though!
