I love to go there to ogle the PSers listings... Tonight I have to page down to find them because of the pearl listings from China.

I know free trade...Internet... I'm still a little disappointed. :((
 
I so agree with you! Maybe we need a private Loupe Troop. I don't have any idea how that could be done, and I do appreciate the
effort put into the current site by the PSer who started it.
 
Yup. I love LoupeTroop because it ISN'T ebay!
 
Yeah, I wish it was a PS members only site. Or at least businesses like the pearl seller could be excluded. That could really overtake the site if a few sellers like that started posting.
 
If someone wants to pay for the site and a moderator, I'm sure it could be done.
 
I thought Loupe Troop's policy was it is for private individuals only, and no trade members.

I'm annoyed by the pearls too, but I really wish people would use the "mark as sold" button instead of just putting "SOLD" in the title. Those listings don't ever go away and bog down the rest of the site.

I wonder if there should/could be a limit to the number of active listings allowed per user....or have them expire after 120 days?

I wish it was a jewellery only site so no bags, clothes or anything else as well. You want to sell a bag sell it on a bag forum site.

So, could I ask ... where do you all stand on jewelry *related* non jewelry listings? I have, for example, a Cartier briefcase up, just 'cause ... well, it's a beautiful briefcase and all, but since the main appeal for me was the bling connection* ... I figured for once I might be in the majority. If not, I'm happy to take stuff like that down!
 
I love Loupe Troop and like seeing the high end bags, watches, sunglasses etc. I do get annoyed when I see "store" listings though. The mans wallet that was listed was swoon-worthy and I'd never seen something like that before, sadly neither will my husband, lol.
 
The "Store" listings show up on both DB and LT from time to time, but individual vendors rarely come back for a second try. I suspect they're not used to the questions and haggling that come with dealing with us PS'ers! ;))
 
You want to sell one bag, and you are a P/S member no problem, ages ago there was a multiple listing for a heap of bags made somewhere else so basically the bags took up the whole view and you couldn't see any jewellery pieces until there were new listings forcing them down the page. It's a jewellery site, not a site to list 150 bags....
