6.8 x 5.1 mm
Medium Blue
Eye Clean
Unheated

It's a bit more than $2,000

Seems on the high side. Although its unheated, its sub 1 carat and that still seems to be the threshold for commanding premium prices.

I find it to be a little high, what certification does it have?

So you mean it should be under $2,000 because it's under 1 carat?

I don't think it has one, just from a reputable company.

I wouldn’t pay that with no certificate. You cant be sure what you are getting. For instance, my original engagement diamond is uncertified. In the store, they told us it was a D color. The in house appraisal said H color. I had it independently appraised in December (20 years later) and it’s a D again with strong blue Fluor. Someone was wrong, and the guy who wrote theappraisal was an honest businessman... but he was incorrect.

Have you seen it in person?

Compare with sapphires from Finewater gems and other places recommended here. I think that is the best you can do—comparison shop.

Sapphires face up small. This will be a small stone.

It might have one, I'm not sure. It is from a reputable company, so I guess it does? If it really didn't (I'll ask the company), I probably wouldn't get it anyway.

I asked for them to send me pictures from a phone and they did. It does look nice. The company is in NYC and I won't have a chance to go there until October. Just hoping no one will buy it til then. But just to be clear, $2,000 sapphires are usually under 1 carat?

I just checked out finewater gems. They do have better prices. Thanks!

no report = no deal
especially not in the high-end price-region.
