Is there anything I can do about this? (Culet touching skin)

Hello ,
Early last year I sent a little diamond off to be put into a pendant. It turned out lovely. However, the culet touches my skin and it’s so annoying! I haven't worn this for more than 10 minutes. I was frustrated because before I sent it off to be set, I asked specifically if this would be an issue ( culet poking out) and was assured it wouldn’t be. It’s my fault for not speaking up, I just don’t like conflict and now it’s been well over a year. I actually sort of forgot about it since I just put it away. Anyhow I’m sure I’m not the first one to deal with this. Aside from a total reset is there anything I can do? I’m tempted to jam something on the back like a peice of clay! Lol
I wonder if my local jeweler can add something to the back to raise it off my skin somehow? I hate to throw more money at this but it’s already wasted just sitting in my old jewelry box.
Again, my fault for not speaking up last year, just wondering if anyone has any creative affordable options or ideas?

Simply have a small ring soldered to the back of the setting.

I just wanted to update! I picked this up from my jeweler today! Thank you so much for the suggestion Now I can wear it comfortably!
