Hi all!
I've recently bought this trillion cut sapphire from Sri Lanka. It's my very first loose sapphire!
It displays several colors including white, lavender purple, cornflower blue and violet, and this made me wonder if it could be considered as a bi-color.
If it's not, what would be a good name for it? Just blue sapphire? I'm quite new to sapphires so I would really appreciate your help! :)

Here are a few pics of the stone both indoors and outdoors! Tried my best to take these but I'm still working on my gemstone photography skills:D

No, it is an inclusion or flaw.

Agree, more like colour zoning. Very pretty though.

It looks like color zoning to me too. Placing them face down in a white bowl of water can sometimes highlight the zones, if you like to play with them.

I would consider it as colour zoning too. And they are various shades of purple as opposed to what I consider bicolor stones (blue and yellow, for example).

Thank you so much for your replies! That helped me a lot! I should check back PS more often :)
