Is this a good Asscher?

After absorbing as much information as I can process from the threads on Asschers on here, I stumbled upon this one:

Yes, the polish and symmetry are only "Good" and the crown height seems to be slightly low, but the windmills appear to be strong and even, the squares are well-defined and concentric and it seems to sparkle quite well in the video.

Here are some questions I have about this Asscher:
  • Is it considered too dark under the table?
  • Is the transient all darkness in the video due to obstruction?
It has been a fun journey learning how to evaluate step cuts and I would love anyone's opinions and analysis on this! Tagging @Karl_K for his insight.

Thanks.

Too dark IMO. I* would keep looking. I do like the shape though with the bigger windmills.

I wouldn't get this one personally. I think it'll be too dark face on.

Thank you all for your insight! I managed to find some more options through scrolling online and also reaching out to vendors:

Would the first and third options be considered too dark under the table?

I'm also having trouble identifying whether these diamonds have any leakage and what level of leakage is acceptable for an asscher. I feel like it's easy to identify leakage for some of the diamonds I've seen online, but for these diamonds, I'm confused between what is leakage and what is light return. Is there any way to tell without an ASET/idealscope?

As always, I would highly appreciate any feedback on these!

1st one is a real nice drop style asscher, good contrasty and looks like you can drop right into the stone, yet nice and flashy as it moves.
Some people love this type some dont.
I love them because I can stare into them for an hour at a time.

2nd inconclusive leaning to a no. Would need ASET to say its not leaky.
3rd you have the depth listed wrong compared to what the link says? This one has a lot of potential, different type than 1.
4th not as well cut as 3.

I just checked cut not inclusions or other issues.

Put that JA 2.70 on hold or buy it ASAP before someone else does!

remember the guy who bought two diamonds and we all loved the smaller one but he bought the larger one bc his gf wanted size… what stone was rhat one he returned? It was at WF and we were all mooning over it! A little over 2 ct

Omg that stone was glorious

Thank you all for your input!! I feel like I've really been learning so much from everyone's posts and comments on here over the last few months, so I'm very grateful for your opinions on the stones I found through applying this knowledge.

Yes I just realized that I accidentally listed the depth wrong on the 3rd diamond. I'd be interested in hearing more about what you mean by a different potential in the 3rd one compared to the 1st one!

Thanks I immediately sent a message to WF after seeing your post!

Fingers crossed, I really hope this is the one.

Different type or look, both 1 and 3 have high potential but different looks.
1 is more contrrasty and drop looking.
3 has the appearance of more steps and less contrast.
Both look to dance very well when moved.
