Hi All,
My friend wants to purchase this stone: https://www.ritani.com/products/2-0...V3n5u5WNTQ_3762MMRHx3TZiWuDxSl2YLFJYYy9j9t_7w
Can someone please advise if it is a good stone or not and if so, why? I can see they have graded the cut as very good…is that accurate? How is cut derived on a stone that isn’t round?
This will be for an engagement ring.
They want to ensure that the stone is not milky, is eye clean and will sparkle. No brown shades etc.
The GIA report is here: https://www.gia.edu/report-check?reportno=7371958917
Another question we have is that there are stones weighing 2.5cts that come in smaller than this from a measurement POV. Can someone please explain how such variance is possible and are there any cost saving tips here?
If anyone has any other stones that might fit the bill, happy to see the link. In australia so we’ll have 10% on top of the price. Also, size can change as long as the measurements are identical.
Thanks everyone!
