Transitional IMO...

62% table does not fall into OEC category to me. Plus its shallow. OECs tend to be deeper in my book.

This is my favorite flavor of old cut!! I would call it a transitional - bigger table, shallower, better symmetry, and smaller culet than typical OECs. Beautiful behavior in that video!

Definitely more of a transitional cut. It’s pretty, but from the video it looks warmer than a K.

Definitely transitional, which I personally prefer to OECs. I think it's amazing

Wow! Transitional IMO.

That's a very nice transitional. And it's warm:love:

Transitional and it’s beautiful. I love this particular seller; I have never bought from them before, but they seem to have very competitive prices and are very friendly.

Yes! I’ve purchased from them and they are very friendly, helpful and will entertain offers. Beautiful ring!

Thank you everyone! I was thinking it looked more like a Transitional!

It’s an absolutely beautiful center stone (the setting isn’t my style, so I would be after just the center stone)… and I prefer a warmer stone vs colorless, so the warmth on this one doesn’t bother me in the least. I seem to strongly favor K/L/M over colorless diamonds. I am still trying to figure out what my preference is. I know I prefer old cut’s with bigger facets over a mrb. I know I don’t like to see an overly huge cutlet, fish eyes bother me, and I’m not a huge fan of seeing a rounded edge flower in the center table that I see on some OEC. OMC seem to bother my ocd cause my eye immediately goes to the imperfect shape, and the facets seem too chunky? for my liking if that makes sense. I’m thinking my heart might be one that gravitates towards Transitional stones, vs true old oec’s?

All I know is I’m taking my time while I save, for when that day comes along and I find “the one” cause it’s going in an Erika Winters Margot for my wedding ring. I’ve been married for 20 years and we never got around to buying a ring.

This one is gorgeous though ❤️
