After 3 upgrades over the last 10 years, I think this is it for me - my final upgrade. Pricescopers have helped me avoid many duds in my journey and I am hoping you will help me again. Please let me know your thoughts on the diamond below. My untrained eye tells me that proportions are not perfect but is it perfect enough? Many thanks in advance!

whether it's perfect enough for you or not is definitly a personal choice. I like the small table and thick arrows, but maybe other people won't agree.

My one worry/"dislike" is that in some of the views the middle (where the arrow shafts come to the middle) seem a bit crowded. Also, the end of the "arrows" almost look like paddles rather than pointed arrows. Not sure that makes sense or not, but those are the things about it I don't love.

Like you said, not perfect, but better cut than the majority of diamonds. Have you asked if there are any transparency issues? It’s an SI2 with a pretty clean clarity plot but a note of additional clouds not shown.
The other concern is color- everyone has different sensitivities and priorities, but with a K, at 4 colors, there will likely be visible warm in many lighting conditions.

I would have a bit of heightened concern in regards to the addition clouds not shows for an SI2.
If this is a diamond on-hand with a jeweler, then I'd recommend that you ask for some side by side high resolution videos of it and a similarity well-proportioned VS1 or better in various lighting conditions so that you can gauge the transparency of this SI2.

Thanks to everyone who chimed in! It’s with the vendor and he says it’s a fireball. I was also very hesitant with the SI2 but he says it’s eyeclean and one of the cleanest he’d seen for an SI2. I am not concerned about a K since my last diamond was also a K. I know the table is a bit smaller than what ideal proportions are but as long as no one sees major leakage or other issues that would make it a hard pass, then I think this will be my top choice. Thanks again for everyone’s input!

Agreed!

This is very sound advice.
Your jeweler is definitely saying what we would all want to hear, but never believe anything until you see it.

'...never believe anything until you see it."
If I've learned anything at all from Pricescopers, this is it - trust but verify ;)2. Waiting for videos and will post here when it's available.

@DejaWiz - could you please comment on the videos? Many thanks again!

I am not sure I did this correctly so if there are any technical issues, please let me know ☺️

Thanks for looking at the video, Garry. Do you mean the background of the video is too dark?

Sorry to be so dense... I guess I am wondering the significance of these "heavily painted" areas?

:read: Thanks for the link...been googling as well!
