Is this dress "too much"?

Hey everyone!

I have three weddings to attend this summer: one at a golf course, another at a vineyard, and the third within a downtown city core.

I''m loving this dress but it''s a little pricey. To get as much mileage as possible, I''m thinking of wearing it to all three weddings but am not sure if it''s "too much dress", if you know what I mean? Do you think it''s appropriate attire? I don''t want to be overdressed...

I don''t think you would be over dressed. I don''t know what you look like but I imagine you would have to have an awesome body (tall, thin) to make it look like you aren''t pregnant.

I agree. I really like it, but I think it will only work if you are tall and slim with a less endowed bustline!

Yes...I kinda think it's too much. Maybe it looks less poofy when it's actually on, but I'm not a fan of the cut combined with the boldness of the print.

ETA: I also really don't like the "high/low" hemline - almost looks like a train. I think it could totally work if a tailor make the hemline a little less dramatic.

I love that dress! I'd wear it to the weddings, personally.

It is hard for me to imagine (as it would look awful on me!) but if you are tall, then you should be able to rock it

I agree. I have a friend who is 6''2 and models who could make it work but even on someone as small as me (105 lbs) it would look off because I am not tall.

Same if you have anything above a B cup. I suspect it won''t sit right and and will give you the prego belly.

Thanks, Ladies, for all your comments! I really appreciate all the honest feedback. I have a slim build but lack the height that this dress might/will need to pull off the look. I''m now more realistic about how it most likely will not be the dress but I haven''t completely given up on it yet! Part of my concern was whether the dress would be wearing me instead of the other way around, kwim?

SanDiegoLady, you described exactly the look I want: dreamy and romantic.

I think I''ll have to try it on to get it out of my system. Hopefully the local DVF store still has it available. A lot of the smaller sizes are no longer available online.

Thanks again! You guys are the best.
