Hi Majed - thank you, could you post a few more pictures? I can’t quite see the bubbles and needles :D

Btw I LOVE that you took multiple pictures and did not just post the same image 25 times - respect!

Oh God that's great wonderful news that you think it is and hopefully it is do you have any unheated sapphire stones

Yes, it would appear to be natural, and interesting from a Gemological viewpoint due to the significant amount of crystal inclusions, but because of that it’s not really “gem quality” more a specimen quality.

What does the whole stone look like - not magnified? Like sitting between your fingers on the back of your hand?

I'll have to do that tomorrow morning

It very well could be natural, but it is not worth anything (or at least it's worth very little) and isn't "gem quality"

Actually it's worth a lot and it's gem quality in person

Sapphires are valued on a number of factors.
Aside from treatments, size and origin -
Colour - sapphires come in all colours of the rainbow. The most valuable / desirable colours are vivid blue and Padparadscha.
Clarity - eye clean is usually expected, except in star sapphires of course.
Cut - a well cut sapphire returns light and has no “window”. That’s not being “see through”.
Your sapphire is very pale, highly included and has a significant window.
Irrespective of treatments and origin, this sapphire would not be considered gem quality and/or of any significant value.

Each ther own my sapphire is as fine and genuine and natural as any other sapphire that hasn't been heated and I know everything all about my sapphires and I know all about sapphires

Majed I’m thinking you will be better off sending your stone to a proper appraiser as you don’t seem to want to get opinions from people here who disagree with your thoughts.

Your profile states you are trade so maybe you have a connection with a certified appraiser who can give you an honest and impersonal appraisal.

Because I can it's a free country and I wanted to make shure that I'm correct and not worng about what I've read

Yes it’s a free country however you seem to dislike getting any feedback that doesn’t agree with yours. I am not an expert but I would listen to what the other posters have said - your stone is not eye clean in anyway plus the colour is very pale. Other posters have told you what constitutes a “valuable” stone To the best of their experience and knowledge.

Now if you love the stone then all that matters is that you love it but if you are looking to make money from the stone, then you need to take it to a professional who can touch and inspect the stone personally and listen to their opinion.

It might be unheated and “genuine” (whatever that means…synthetic poop is genuine as well) but it most certainly isn’t fine by any standard.

That doesn’t meant it doesn’t have value to you. Indeed, to each their own.

By the way, I think it’s a cool collector stone

Why are you asking about it if you know all about them?

You should open your own gem lab and put AGL and GIA out of business.

Yes it is a free country.
We are all equal.
ALL the children get a blue ribbon and a huge trophy.
But that doesn't mean 2+2=5.

In other words ...

If you know everything about sapphires, then I'm confused as to why you titled the thread as "Is this genuinely a unheated and untreated sapphire?" and couldn't tell what inclusions where in your stone and whether or not it had rutile.

Surely you would already know the answer to all those and wouldn't even need to post except as a interesting specimen like Bron mentioned. You shouldn't have to "confirm" what you'd read, you should already know if that sapphire article was accurate or not, right?

It may be genuinely unheated and untreated, however, the colour, amount of inclusions and cut do not appeal to me, even if it is given to me for free!

Each to their own and all that.

If the OP loves it for what it is, then please ignore all the comments which I believe are fair; however I am far from being an expert on Sapphires as you said you are.

DK :))
