Hi All, very new to this and in need of some help. I am reading this diamond would be considered too deep, but is it really TOO deep that it’s not worth getting? The diamond looked so nice but now I am having second thoughts based on my own research. Please offer any and all advice!5EDA25F3-76C2-42DA-89AF-8B6DEF93EEEF.jpeg

You cant attach stuff on ps. If you take a screenshot you can upload the pic, or if you have a link to the stone itself you can copy and paste it

Oh shoot thanks for letting me know. Can you see it now?

HCA score isn’t great and it will face up smaller because of the overall depth. There are always other things to consider, like how it looks in person and of course, price.

Sorry but this stone doesn't look like a good choice at least on paper. Too deep and so will look small for its carat weight, crown and pavilion angles don't work well together. The comments on the inclusions not shown would also bother me personally because it has both clouds and internal graining - transparency concerns.

Try to view the diamonds in a range of lighting environment if possible. Jewelry store lighting tend to make almost any stone look good so you want check in various lighting to make sure it'll still look nice when you bring it home.

P41.00CR35.5 is similar to P 41.2 Cr34.5 that has a lot of "Life "( best for my Taste.)
Ff course it has leakage in ASET, IS that you can see in real light conditions if you are Cyclops .

But the diamond could have pavilion 41.2 because GIA does not use precise measurements is reports( GIA uses roundness )
P 41.2 Cr35.5 has leakage even for Human vision .

so P41.00 P35.5 is risky combination and you have check it before to buy

Definitely not one I would recommend at all.

Whoops, pressed reply too fast. OP are you open to alternatives?

Definitely open to alternatives! Is there anything specific that makes it a definite no? I am in the 15k price range. I am in need of help understanding what qualities you can sacrifice and what cannot. Are these proportions really bad in the eyes of an expert or would non-experts really be able to tell the difference if the proportions were slightly more favorable? Any advice you have would be greatly appreciated!!

15k for the stone alone? Or 15k with setting? Are you open to buying online? This stone likely will look small and wont be as nice as it could be. For 15k I think you want something amazing
