Is it really December here in Pittsburgh? Here are the temps for the past week:
Monday: 10 with a windchill of -2
Tuesday: 18
Wednesday: 40
Thursday: 30
Friday: 50
Saturday: 65

Seriously..it''s 65 today. It''d be one thing if we were having an unusually warm winter altogether, but it was almost single digits less than a week ago! When weather is this inconsistent it really freaks me out.

I live in Cleveland, so we have pretty much had the same thing here. I hate this kind of weather this time of year...it should be 20 degrees and snowing! I want some snow!!!

We have a saying here in Texas: "If you don''t like the weather, wait a minute, it''ll change!"

Like today, when at about 11AM it went from cloudy, humid, and nearly 80, to windy, cool, and clear as a bell. . . . in less than half an hour! It is currently 68 and sunny. In the last ten days we have been as low as 23 degrees and as high as 80. Humid one minute and dry the next. All you can do as a Texan, during the winter, is shrug your shoulders. We get our redundant forecasts during the summer months! We can live with a little variety until then!

ugh this weather is killing me.
Sinuses and asthma has been nuts with the melting snow.

Frankly it''s been a real PITA! We had the snow storm from hell a week ago. We had to travel an hour to our Christmas party in 15 degree temps, very icy conditions and with a packed SUV loaded with goodies that had to be unloaded. Then we get such heavy rain that we felt like building an ark. Great that all that dirty mushy snow is now gone but it''s supposed to be 60 degrees here in NY tomorrow. A little nuts...... I never know what to wear or how warm to dress because often times, the weather man is completely wrong!

Yep... I''m in SE Michigan, and it''s 60 degrees! Totally weird, and it''s wreaking havoc on my sinuses!

It''s 77 here in SE Texas.

The Day After Tomorrow (movie) comes to mind.

The weather is crazy. It's 55 here and foggy. I feel like I am in Nantucket, hehe.

I fell on the ice yesterday and could wear shorts today! We have a tornado watch in Chicago today!

I have an outdoor Koi pond in zone 5b so I am all about the weather as it impacts my favorite hobby. The weather patterns are changing in the last 4 years. Before 2004 in zone 5b you coudl expect the first snow on October 3rd or 4th, and then a warmup and then winter as usual. Spring started in March. 4 years ago winter seems to have shifted and not changed since. The winters are milder here with cold weather not really starting until January, and lasting well in to end of March and April with Very cold weather, snow and ice storms.

The weather ir totally freaking me out! Having it over 81 degrees and HORRIBLY humid on Christmas Day is the pits. This was the grossest Christmas I can remember (weather wise anyway! Otherwise, I have lots to be thankful for!)

It''s strange for sure.

Currently 53 in NYC going up to 63

this weather is insane!! here in Chicago we hit 62 yesterday!!! and just a few days before we were at like 5 degrees and a week ago it was below -2!!

I''m not gonna lie, although the weather is getting crazy with the drastic change in temperature, I''m loving it being 65 right now

Not much different here. It''s ALWAYS wacky in Oklahoma so we''re used to it. Large double-digit drops are not uncommon here. A Christmas in the 70''s is not uncommon either. And spring around here is just nail-biting hell. They didn''t bother me when I was a kid, but nowadays I just loathe the spring storms. May 3rd of 1999 made a believer of me, and turned our weathermen into freaky monsters who now cover every single raindrop in the state with micro-precision. Annoys me no end.

I''m with you on the spring storms; we''ve had way too many close calls here with regard to tornadoes. We had one hit just about five miles from us last spring; heard it going over! You really can feel the pressure change, and hear a difference in the wind. It makes me a bit freaky, too. After all, it hasn''t been that long ago (16 yrs?) that our part of TX had an F5 tornado!

The weather guys are just like the storm chasers -- they like excitement! You know the regular weather just bores the crap out of them!
