I was browsing around and this milky 1.1 ct lavender sapphire caught my eye. It is selling at 190/ct.

As this is a new territory for me, I'll like to seek collective wisdom as to whether if this is worth its value. The first 2 images are taken indoor and the 3rd and 4th are taken outdoor in daylight. The last picture was taken off the vendor's post.

I can't help but wonder is it normal for the colour to be so washed out under the sun. This piece of stone looks cute for an everday wear ring to me.

Would love to hear your opinions.

As much as the price is attractive, I don’t think it is good value. If could be a fun purchase if you are really intrigued but this stone, but that will depend on your financial ability to but this without regret.

Personally, I spend $$$$ on rubies but would not spend 200$ on this.

I wouldn't actually call this milky because it is so desaturated. My silly/milky/opalescent sapphire is very glowy in natural light. This sapphire doesn't seem silky (which is from inclusions). But all these terms are subjective.
