Is this worth the money?

As a lay person I need some advice - if this ring is worth the money:Goldsmith's 18k half eternity or would you rather opt for a Cartier.

I'm not happy buying uncertified diamonds, so Cartier sounds like a safer option, but I prefer the design of the first one. I'm also concerned about the durability of the claw set?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Are you matching this band with another ring?

The Cartier diamonds will not be certified either-just a bigger name brand.

Hi, thanks for your feedback. I feel the same - the cartier diamond is 0.05 carat, so seems like we're paying for the brand name.

I would rather go with the Goldsmith's one, but I'm a bit concerned about durability especially with claw set. What do you think?

I will most likely match it with another ring, most likely a solitaire diamond, similar to engagement rings

I think the Goldsmith’s band will look nicer with diamond solitaire. I’m not familiar with Goldsmith-but if they have a good reputation, I think you should be fine.

I have similar bands and had not had any issues with them. However, I take them off when working out etc.

I take them off when working and even when washing hands (don't like the soap residue getting stuck between the stones), and then I lose them in restaurant restrooms

Hello and welcome to PriceScope, Gigi2030!
Another option that'll essentially guarantee top optical performance out of the melee: have a reputable jeweler make you one with Grunberger H&A diamonds.

Wow. Put your rings in your pocket!!!!

Clear liquid soap will not get stuck in prongs. Even if soap gets stuck, cleaning rings at home is not hard. Better that than leaving them behind for someone else!
