Hi Team PS - anybody selling an OEC bezel pendant <$1.5k? Hoping to find a fiery, 0.5ct stone.

77484B81-23C1-4ECC-A444-948D1BF512D4.png I’m now thinking it could be fun to go for an elongated triangle - I love what Jessica McCormick did here. One thing I really appreciate with my Marla lock is that there is no “right way” to wear it. If the stone moved left or right, it’s all part of the effect. With that said, anyone have ideas of places where these “bullets” can be sourced?

Great find! Am I going crazy, or do you find it to be a bit asymmetrical? May just be the bezel.

OECs aren't often perfectly round so I'm guessing the bezel had to follow the shape of the stone.

This is larger than you want but is within your budget and looks to be fabulous and fiery ... the seller is a fabulous & knowledgeable PSer with expertise in old-cut diamonds - https://loupetroop.com/listings/necklaces-and-pendants/0-dot-71ct-gia-l-vs2-old-european-diamond

Drool, I love this one and if I weren't saving for a new house I would have snatched it up already! I do see what you are talking right about at 5 o'clock on the bezel. I can't remember if fortekitty is susan but I remember she is great. Let us know what you decide on.

I'm not Susan. The pics and lighting accentuates the flat-ish part on the bottom, but irl it's not noticeable. OECs tend to not be perfectly round so they have to work with the shape. For someone who needs it to be perfectly round, they should get a newly cut stone!

I agree, I think you can only get 100% symmetry with a new stone cut to oec proportions. I think the old stones are absolutely the best, to think they were hand-cut all those years ago making each one unique! I've actually considered converting this stone/bezel into a ring, the only way I can justify buying a stone right now anyway ;)2

The three half hoops in the back prevents it from being converted into a ring (comfortably, at least), and discarding it would be a waste of an almost new bezel! I have other rings for sale though. :D

If they are not already on LT you can find my email under my same screen name, clunkygirl (!!). I don't have an actual engagement ring per se bc when we got married 10 years ago I wanted the poesy ring thing, engage with a silver, trade it out for gold. Then it was work and pay for grad school, now it's the house! But I do love rings and would definitely consider a lovely OEC.

And thanks for the info on the bezel, that would be such a waste as it is really pretty.
