I know this is a long shot, but anyone (trusted PSer) thinking of selling their watch?
Mine got stolen and I'll only get what I paid 15 years ago from my insurance. Which doesn't buy me the same model watch new today.

I'm not a big watch person, but need a work horse every day watch. Thus the metal watchband is non-negotiable.

I'm so sorry your watch was stolen! I have a Rolex (stainless and gold with champagne face) that I haven't worn for ages and I've been toying with selling it. Great, @Dee*Jay ! I'd be more interested in the Cartier, since the rolex is a bit small. Which model exactly is it? I hadn't considered the roadster at all,so I'll have to look the details up ...are you on Instagram?
 
Kipari, it is W62016V3. It also says ROADSTER PM ACIER QTZ CAD 12 CR.

I am on Instagram... and I just logged on (after having to reset my password, LOL) to find I somehow even have FOUR FOLLOWERS. (Seriously, I don't even know who these people are! :lol: ) Anyway, I am chicagodj.

Thank you! I lusted after it for a while but realize I end up reaching for my Cartier Tank almost everyday and I have several other watches that don’t get any attention.
If anyone is interested, let me know. Retails for $4500, my price $1200. I know I have the box but not sure about papers

Hi DeeJay, apparently great PS minds think alike and I have been looking for a watch upgrade as well. I currently have a Longines Dolce Vita which is a Cartier tank look alike for a much cheaper price tag.

I am entertaining rolexes as well but am hesitant to purchase via online vendors I’m not familiar with. I’m also concerned that the face size of most Rolex watches may overwhelm my very petite wrist (6 inches) - I personally don’t like the oversized look for work settings.

Would you mind sharing your wrist size? I’d be interested in seeing more photos and asking price if you listed it on Looptroupe.
