It pains me to do this... glorious Art Deco ruby ring

I am selling it. Life is getting in the way and I have to have surgery. Gorgeous ring and a great deal for someone who loves it like me.

18k white gold with calibrated french cuts rubies. Size 7.5 and freshened up just recently. According to Circe once she was told it belonged to Eve Arden. One of the smallest rubies has a chip that cannot be seen unless you look through a loupe. This is a vintage ring so it is not perfect but it is gorgeous and the rubies were described as heat only.

Specs from Circe:

The center stone is 7mmx5.6mm, estimated to weigh .85, and it features an additional .90 carats worth of french cut rubies, and approximately half a carats worth of colorless diamonds, VS clarity.

Can I tell you how every time I see a thread about you selling my heart literally sinks into my stomach because I think you are selling that ruby ring and that I have missed out on it!!! I know completely crazy but really I saw this thread and had a sudden urge to lose my breakfast. promise me dibs if ever hit the insane marker and sell it!

Oh I did not see that. I have one person interested already and will keep everyone aprised here. I think someone in my thread was interested if I ever sold it also but I cannot post there because that is against the rules?

(Also, a plug for the ring: if I wasn't still saving up for the Holy Grail piece that caused me to put it up in the first place, I would buy this back in a hot second - it's even prettier than the pics.)

Unless I've have been mistaken all this time, I think it's the Edwardian dinner ring SB loves. If I have ... a) d'oh, and, b) she's gonna be happy when she sees this thread!

Thank you so much Circe. This surgery thing is really gonna suck but hopefully better afterword. I have my holy grail ACC and that one will never sell - unless I need a kidney I guess.

And SB621 and I conversed - she has dibs on the honker Edwardian ruby ring (after me of course).
