Hi Pricescope, hope all is well with everyone.

It's been a while since I last reached out for help. Last time worked out perfect...so I'm back again.

Well, my wife and I are expecting our first child here in November and I would like to get her a nice gift. I have a pendant necklace (platinum or white gold) picked out from Brian Gavin, but need help choosing the diamond for it. I would like to keep the stone in the range of $1200-$1500. Next I would like a round stone and approximately .25-.5 range. Not sure what clarity and color I can get away with on a pendant?

I'm getting confused and not sure of all of their collection lines...Hearts and arrows, black, blue and ect.

Lastly some additional info if it helps.... before pricescope years ago I did buy her diamond studs in the range of SL1 G iirc at .45ctw.

If you have any other questions please ask!

Thanks for your time and help!

I think for a pendant it's easy to get away with eye clean SI1 (especially in these sizes), and H/I color in an ideal cut.

I see some in the .5 range on the BGD website that fit your budget.

Anything from the signature, black, h&a, or blue line will all be good (Cape isnt a good option bc its lower colors only).

Heres an option (though I would want video and more pics)

Ps. If you dont find a stone that works in your budget from BGD I would look at WF, Wolf/CBI as alternatives. Unless it's a super unique setting my guess is either of those vendors would be able to source something similar

Of course one would want to see photos and images and they will gladly provide but you can purchase a BGD honestly sight unseen because they are all amazing and everything and more a super ideal should be.

Ok. That is helpful to know with a pendent this size that eye clean Sl1 and H/I will work out nicely.

When asking for video and pictures what are my next steps?

Well, if you like what you see then there's that! (And I cannot imagine in a million years you won't like what you see!) They can provide you with many images and they are breathtaking.. Also, they can explain to you what all the images mean, etc. But you can be assured that it will be a stunner as far as performance goes. Also, even if an I color (and especially in that size) it will be very bright, and even more so if worn as a pendant. And even in the smaller size, because of the top, top, top cutting precision, it will be visible across the room. And you can be assured that it will be a good SI1 because they will not take the time to cut a stone to that precision if its clarity just "isn't good enough".

Well some financial issues came up and I would like to lower the budget for the diamond down to $1000 from BGD.

Any help would be appreciated?

Thanks headlight for all of your help too!

How about this one for $1,069 (bank wire price)?

edit

found it.

Seems nice to be but that’s why I came to the experts here to help!
I’m trying to do this on my phone incognito style.
