sorry ladies, just needed to get this all out.. some unforseen circumstances have come up, and it looks like my stay as a LIW will be even longer than i had imagined. here''s some of the background info. FF and i live with my brother. his now ex gf lived with us too. my brother is my best friend, we have always been close and i would do anything for him, but i am aware of how absent minded he can be. to make a long story short.. theres a good chunk of change that we have to cough over. my bro had half the money.. my bf had enough money saved up towards a future ring that is now gone that covered the second half. i was aware of the savings and am also aware that now its gone. and as much as i love to help my brother im still so sad to see every penny gone. but i also feel so lucky to have a bf who is so wonderful to give up all the money he had saved over the last year to help me and my brother. he knew how bummed i was and how sad it made me. so all afternoon (we got out of work early) he entertained me and had me laughing hysterically he did his very best to keep my mind off of things and did a great job. then he sat in the living room playing some xbox360 while i had a friend come over to cheer me up even more. better yet there was a bottle of red wine from his parents, half an apple pie, and a quart of ice cream left over from my parents that had hadnt finished when both sets of FIL came over for a housewarming party. all in all.. a terrible day and the loss of the fund (at least until bro finishes paying it back) turned out kinda ok thanks to the great support and love from my bf and bff.
