It''s official! I am a triathlete!

Some of you may remember me asking if anyone has done a triathlon before.

Well, I decided to train for one and have been doing that as my ''gown-ready'' regimen for the last 10 weeks.

The real race was this morning! I am happy to report that I finished and I didn''t get kicked in the face!! I was really worried that I would take a foot to my nose when my wedding is now less than 2 weeks away.

And the bonus? I look fabulous in my dress! I had my 2nd dress fitting on Friday and everything looks great! The seamstress even told me that my waist is so small, she had difficulties making the fabric lay correctly.

I have pictures (of both the dress fitting and the triathlon .... oh! And my hair trial that was on Saturday....) if anyone is interested. If so, I''ll start to resize them.

I just feel so good! I''m officially a triathlete!

That''s wonderful news.
You should be quite proud of yourself.
My brother, sisters, daughter, nieces and nephew compete in triathlons in relay teams.
They do about three or four a year. It''s so much fun. I''m their biggest fan.
They just did the Annapolis, MD tri yesterday and both relay teams placed; first and third. Nice!

I see women well into their sixties + competing. It''s very inspiring.
I hope to do one some day.

There are two women that started www.cliqueapparel.com. They make nice jewelry and clothing for triathletes.
