So I just want to find out who has the same problems I do, in an attempt to make myself feel better. Since my bf and I decided we were going to get engaged sometime this century and started the diamond search, I''ve found PS. And since I''ve found PS, I''ve also developed a deeper appreciation for all things sparkly. Now, it''s become a near obsession. I started with looking at e-ring diamonds, seeing what vendors had available and what my options are. Then I got distracted by earrings. And I decided I''m going to get earrings, since the e-ring will have to wait a while. Now, it''s the colored stones. I am sooooo tempted to buy something colorful, a pendant or RHR to add to my measly jewelry wardrobe.

Where does all this insanity end? Can a girl ever have too much jewelry? How do you stop this obsession? HOW DO YOU STOP COVETING EACH AND EVERY SPARKLY THING YOU SEE?!?!?!

Thank you for allowing me a brief moment of ranting insanity. That is all.

HAHAHAHHAHHAHHAHAHHAAA!!!!!!!!!!

Embrace the insanity.

That's all I can say.

Hi cinderalla,

Wellcome to the Twilight Zone!

Amongst the PS community, you are considered normal...so don''t worry. We are all post-therapy on this board and as yet, there is no known cure.

All pricescopers have a fine inscription on the back of the neck, just under the hair line... It says ''high maintanence''

But hey...there are much worse things you could be hooked on, so don''t worry!

Marry Prince Charming. Princes have lots of money - right.... No problem then.

Good luck trying to mesh your jewelry obsession with real life. . . it is a struggle we all face every day!

Tee hee - it never ends!!

I''ve just become obsessed by Cartier Charms.

This little elephant is soooooo cute!! I''m trying to justify to myself that it would make a good pendant, but I have the feeling that it is both tiny and VERY expensive.......

We can all relate to this. I''ve had a jewelry obsession for about 20 years. Finding PS just made it worse!!!!

Sorry Cinderella, but there is no fairy godmother that will get you out of this one. We''re all in the same sparkly boat...

Hahahahahahahaha (evil laugh), she''s one of us now!

Nor I, hahaha......but Mr Lorelei would probably prefer I WAS cured with aversion therapy ( ''taint no such thing with diamonds) or various other methods, but he would be wasting his time and he knows it

It never ends. I am sad to say it, but it''s the truth!! We all have this disease. We are all infected with it. No cure except to go cold turkey. Good luck with that, hehe.

We not like other people!!!???? Why didn''t someone tell me this before???!!!!

I''m afraid I''ve been infected too. I''ve always loved jewelry and all things sparkly, but now it''s become an obsession and I actually WANT those sparklies for myself!!!

Well, at least we can support each other here...

My husband is jealous of PS--he calls it "the other lover."

Even when you get new jewelry it doesn''t help. When I finally got my three stone ring upgrade, then I wanted a new setting for my old diamond. Then I needed a new watch because the old one was yellow gold and the new rings were white gold and platinum. When I got new stud earrings then my pendant wasn''t big enough anymore! It never ends!!!

It''s a vicious cycle ain''t it???

I've got such a obsession with diamonds and jewelry, I'm taking steps towards my GIA GG diploma. This is sort of helping my obsession by being educated and possibly pursue a career in the jewelry business.

But in the meantime, I've acquired a few quality gemstones and diamonds. My Dh isn't even complaining about me buying these he thinks I'm using them for my course which I am but when I'm done with the course,I've got plans to make me some major blings for myself.

So, you're not alone!!!

What problem? Speak for yourself! I don''t have a problem. *hides all the jewelry catalogs she saves to look at over and over again*

LOL, you people are no help! My poor bf is doomed to a lifetime of living with a jewelry obsessed woman who demands a new piece every six months! At least I know I''m normal within this little community......

AAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!! I do this toooooooooooooo!!!!

I have to admit I''m mostly over the jewelry craze right now. My hubby bought me everything I wanted, so I don''t really want any thing right now. I could use a RHR, but I don''t need it right now. Now I just desperately want a Rolex watch with diamonds in it, and that''s about it. The only problem is that the cheapest one I''ve been able to find online costs $5000!
