I was driving to work this am and I heard on the radio that her and Marc Anthony have recently gotten engaged? Apparently she is sporting a "small" diamond "planet" on her left ring finger?? Anyone else have any news on this??

Geez, that girl goes though diamonds like paper towels!!

Well, let's see who she's chosen. He has 3 children by 2 different women. He was just recently proven not to be the father of a 4th child by a third woman (but does admit that he could have been the father), just renewed his vows to his now ex-wife less than 8 months ago, just finalized his divorce from her last week and marries yet another woman over the weekend. If J-Lo is indeed pregnant then I'm wagering that the marriage will last 24 months. If she's not pregnant and doesn't become so, then I'll give it 9 months.

Why doesn't anyone in her life try to address why she feels this need to be with a man all the time...and go to any lengths to get/keep them for as long as SHE wants them? Dysfunctionality rules in celebrity lives. It's quite unfortunate. From what I have read...MA has addored JL for years, they used to date a while back and she is the big love of his life. Apparently he used to tell his wife (Ex Miss America) that she wasn't beautiful. Sounds like a great guy eh? Impregnating other women outside the marriage? Pining away for JL on the side? Quickie divorce and abandonment of a wife and kids? Class act! Congrats J.Lo!




I give it 6 months without a baby...with a baby (which is just sad..) about a year and a half max.

I agree with Mara. Strange and superficial lives they lead...and sad as well. Can you imagine what that diamond must look like!!??! I heard it's white (not pink like the one she returned to Ben). Don't know what shape it is though. Anyway, I thought it was interesting that she managed to keep it quiet and under wraps. Even the guests didn't know they were going to be attending a wedding. They were invited to a dressy "barbeque".

Oh, well...I prefer the "normal" mundane life!

my latest US weekly had pictures of the ring and some sort of description, I will have to dig it out and see. I think it may have been an emerald cut or similar, it's a white diamond..i think they said flawless? obviously I wasn't that interested at the time..hehee.




anyway, there was also a funny quote by one of MA's friends that said something about how MA didn't buy her any of that 'colored diamond crap' that 'doesn't match half her outfits'...

Well, the newest poop is that Marc Anthony has threatened to sue his newly ex-wife if she says anything bad about him or J-Lo. It seems she's had to cancel a couple of interviews she had scheduled because of his threat.

HELLO?!! I think she's entitled to free speech. As long as she's telling the truth she can say whatever she wants. What a prince this new guy of J-Lo's is!! First he cheats on his wife numerous times with other women, then wants a no-contest quickie divorce, promptly marries another woman who is rumored to be pregnant, and now has the gall to demand that his betrayed former wife clam up and say nothing about how badly she's been treated by him.

You know Marc, she doesn't need to tell the world what a total ASS you are, your actions speak louder than her words ever could!!

Actually in US Weekly they noted that he has threatened to sue her if she even TALKS about him. Regardless of good or bad! I guess she mentioned him in even a few interviews and he was upset. Funny, I had been to a charity ball about 3 years back or so, and Dayanara Tores was there. She was supposed to have been accompanied by her hubby (Marc), but it seems they couldn't find him. He must have ducked out for a quick fling...

She is actually shorter than I expected for a a Ms. Universe, but she was absolutely naturally pretty and very gracious. So I feel bad for her, because I spoke with her for a bit, and she seemed very sweet, very young, and almost like she was just an average pretty girl from Puerto Rico...except she had contracts from Pantene, was starting her singing career and had a Dayanara doll coming out...She was rising up by her accord without Anthony.

I always though she was too good for Marc Anthony, and frankly still do. Fitting that the only Latin singer whose music I hate, and whose appearance makes me shudder (he played well in Man on Fire, as I assumed he wasn't acting....) should marry J-Lo...fitting pair...*shudder*
