Jade ring, opinions?

Hi people, I came across a jade ring whose design I really like, and the jade seems to have good translucency and glow to my untrained eyes, but it is at the higher end of my budget and I wasn’t sure if it is a reasonable price (as it is not “colored”, but I know good colorless jade is not cheap either). The price tag is a little over $1700.
The pictures are screenshots from vendor video, would appreciate any opinions or advice. TIA!
Tagging Icy here because she’s an expert and I finally learned how to tag in the forum. @icy_jade

You have a great eye for design - I love it, and I'd absolutely wear it.

Can't help with the price. I'd love a jade ring - it's precisely the subtleties of pricing that have put me off buying one...

Nice design and the stone quality looks good. The price seems reasonable to me if the actual ring matches the pic. Jade price increased a lot this year.

Looks like nice jade to me -- and I think the ring is sensational! As @Starstruck8 says, I'd wear it, too.

I would need a report to confirm untreated and would be willing to pay for that.

Put it on reserve fast!

Thanks so much for the input! The design is right up my alley and I like the glow of the jade in the video. It's just so hard to tell if I'm paying reasonably. In general I'd also prefer some more color, but understand I would not be able to afford that at the same translucency.
The ring will need to be adjusted 1 size up, which the vendor said can be done for free.
The vendor promised a report (the sample they provided is from a lab called HSNGTC which I am not familiar with), and the return window is 24 hours.

You are probably paying mostly for the gold rather than the jadeite. Is it 18k gold? If the gold weight is decent (if you want you can probably work backwards re how much the gold is, add workmanship and then the remaining is the jadeite and jeweller markup) and you LOVE the design, go for it. It doesn’t sound outrageously expensive to me…

That's my thought too. The jade in itself is not of high quality in terms of colour, and would only appeal to those who like this shade.

However, I like the design and the craftmanship looks very nice too.

DK :))

Thanks a lot Icy and DK! I am still doing the internal debate...
