Jadeite carved pendant

Advice again please!

To anyone who is knowledgable about jadeite.

I have a hankering for this piece which I found on Rubylane. I want to make it into a brooch set in white gold and tiny diamonds. But I know nothing about jade so I don’t know if this is correctly priced, what the quality is etc.

It has some white bloom on one side of the carving but as I want to make it into a brooch rather than a reversible pendant that doesn’t worry me. But how does that affect the quality and therefore the value?

The colour and translucency look good to me, but what do I know?!

Any thoughts?

Very nice piece. Decently clean (white patch exception) and fairly translucent. Only unknown is the treatment.

I asked the vendor about treatment and if there was any third party certificate.

Apparently the pendant came from an old estate and no certificate came with it. However the vendor says it was tested by Chelsea filter and is negative for dye and no fluorescent was detected through black light.
