NOT happy about JCK 2013 - DH and I were coming for sure. And then I decided to go back to uni. I can't take a holiday in the middle of the term and miss 4 weeks, nor can I justify international airfare prices for just a few days in the States.

Being a grown up sucks.

This is silly, but have you met many of the other members? I won't know anyone by face except for the Trade PSers because they have their pictures on their avatars. Also, you know I live in the "dark ages" (no electricity for real in Dec); thus, I don't belong to facebook! I am going to have to ask to see people's hands to see if I can match their rings with a name if I go.

And DH says he is ecstatic to go to the Vegas GTG! Well, his actual words were "I don't care sweetie. We can do whatever you want." in a very blah tone. But I'm pretty sure that means "oh my god! I'm so excited for the next GTG! Can't wait!!!"

We can connect. I have met 3 PS members who live in the large city near me, but I have no idea if any of them are going. I am only connected to a couple of people on FB. All you have to do is go to loupetroop.com where I have a listing waaay down the page for a 1.58 G VS1 GIA XXX diamond. Contact info is at the bottom of the info. Other PS members have things listed there as well.
