Hi there!

We are here at JCK Las Vegas, all registered and going through the first day. The main topic this year is Lab Grown Diamonds (LGD). If you have not seen the announcement that De Beers will be selling LGD, the following is the link to the discussion:

https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/de-beers-undercuts-the-man-made-diamond-price.241185/

We will keep you in the loop as we hear more.

For now just a few snap shots we took.

Does it feel like you’re in Vegas now . . . just a little bit ;-)

@psadmin - does PS have an exhibit at JCK?

And in case you want to drop by - David Klass and Amy Phillips from DKJ, Jonathan Weingarten from August Vintage Inc, Hudson Hawk and myself will be having dinner at Rivea in the Delano Hotel (attached to the Mandalay Bay) at 6.30pm this evening. Just in case you'd like to come and say hi. :)

This is a great thread and thank you for posting. If possible, I would like to see some larger size ruby and emerald rings (e.g. 4-7 carat range) and the settings.

Thank you!

@darlinh I love it! Thank you so much for posting! This is like being there! I’m staying close to this thread all night!

Love the emerald and ruby rings, especially the emerald. If I may ask... if you see a JB Star booth, I would love to see some of their colored gemstones! I love their items but they see hard to find in quantity.

Thank you again! You are so wonderful to post!

HI:

So glad what happens in Vegas doesn't stay there. These pictures are OTT, in the best sense. Thank you!

cheers--Sharon

@darlinh I keep staring at that emerald ring. I really need to get me an emerald parure! Thank you so much for the photos!

I would love to drop by, but unfortunately, we have plans and rushing to get ready Will you be around tomorrow?

Oh, Linh, how will you ever choose which bauble to bring home? Beautiful pieces and beautiful pictures - thanks for sharing!!

You missed an excellent dinner! :)

I'm not sure what our plans are for today. Jon will be at his exhibit booth, and I think DK will be at the antiques and watches fair at the Convention Center, which is off the strip a ways. The rest of us will be hitting up the couture show, and the colored gems - where we hope to do a little shopping. I know I, for one, have my eye on a nice pair of rubies I saw yesterday!

As we say around these parts- Gordon Bennett :-o (which means good grief! :D )

Amazing eye candy!!! Thanks so much for sharing!!!

We’re happy to share and glad you’re enjoying a taste of JCK!

I still have 2 young kids so my question is, “What can I afford?” BUT, I do know that I would like to take home one of each ;-)
