A gorgeous engagement ring that''s what!!!! woot woot!!

I know we were all disappointed that FI only gave me one picture to share earlier this week

shame on him.

He got here late friday evening, so no good pictures then- but oh man was I excited!

The ring was even more amazing than I could ever imagined. Saturday it rained. Today I''ve been trying to get good pictures (although I should be writing a paper. oh well

)

so, after about 150 tries, I got a couple ok pictures. I''m sorry if they get repetitive. They are all in my dorm- which has absolutely garish lighting. but hey, I tried

I have to give a big thank you to Jeff White, Vatche, and Winfield''s who were all wonderful in getting the ring done. FI said Wink and Melissa at Winfield''s were very nice and professional. Even though they had some major computer and invoicing problems at the time, they were able to work something out

... shows the color... sort of. It shifts a bit from blue-blue to a tad bit richer almost purpley-blue

So I seriously love this ring as I had almost bought the same setting to set a similar sized blue sapphire and in the same ring size yet!

I went a different direction but only after weeks of debating it. The Swan is my fave solitaire setting. Now I see what I missed out on!
