Have any of you ever watched this - I think it''s on digital cable or something. I was watching it Saturday night at my fiance''s parents house, and it was pretty funny. They had this auction show, where they would try to get viewers to call in and bid on "manufacturer''s closeout" jewelry. I saw four items in a row go unsold. They provided no specs at all, just the total carat wt of the stone and the metal they were set in. Even worse, the photography was terribly unflattering - all of the stones looked horribly included and didn''t sparkle at all. Lots of the settings looked lop-sided or uneven. No wonder they couldn''t sell anything! Maybe the merchandise wasn''t actually as bad as it looked, but they sure weren''t doing it any favors.
Overall, it was funny in an I-can''t-believe-that-this-is-actually-on-TV kind of way. I must have watched for a half hour until my fiance made me switch the channel.
