Of Tiffany''s famous designers, whose ''style'', or work, do you admire most?

Elsa Peretti i think will take the nod but Paloma Picasso has some cool stuff too, and maybe we have some classic schlumberger fans out there!

Im a bit torn between peretti and picasso, but in terms of ''style'' id go Picasso. Probably though there are more of Peretti''s pieces that id wear...

I have a couple of Peretti's pieces, so I guess I'd say her. I also really like design aspects of many of Gehry's, but they are not my personal style.

Jean Schlumberger -- not that I can afford any of her pieces!

I''m surely a Peretti girl. I''ve got quite a few of her pieces. Guess I''m drawn to the smoothness, soft and flowing, bubbly style to the metals. The Bean has ALWAYS been a favorite of mine. I finally got the necklace this past Christmas. I''ve got my eye currently on the Bean bracelet (link: here) Her Diamonds by the Yard have been on my wishlist for years now (link: here)

Second I''d say that Frank Gehry has some pretty awesome stuff though I don''t have any of his pieces just yet. I''m certainly in love with his fish items (link: these guys). His items are more artistic-structurally based, guess cause he''s an architect. Love the sharp edges and curves in his designs. Have you ever seen the buildings he''s designed? His jewelry surely replicates...

I LOVE Paloma but I only have one of her pieces thus far. Her styles are very...aggressive, bold and to the point! I''ve falling in love with her new "hammered" pieces (link: here) you ought to see the way the light reflects off of them. Also the new Zellige pieces (link: here) are gorgeous. I watched her video on Tiffany''s website about a month ago describing these. She was inspired by old mosaics from her house in Morocco! It''s a pretty cool video (here''s the link) if you''d like to watch!

Jean would be my least favorite style. Though he''s got some stuff I''d love to own, it''s usually a bit more expensive than the others.

Ummm...their diamonds?

I actually don''t really like many of the "named" pieces. I like one or two of the things Peretti designed (I have the small starfish necklace), but that''s about it. I just like her ocean-inspired stuff.

Really, the only reason I go in Tiff''s is for the stuff that throws rainbows.

I prefer the traditional Tiff staples myself.

I love contemporary but thin bezels. No milgrain. And T''s has a great selection of those. So I like some of pieces on the swing and bezet (though a lot will depend on profile view of these, in general Tiffany''s profile views bore me) and jazz lines.

I love Diamonds by the Yard, Swing, and the more timeless pieces. Right now, all I really have is the Legacy band, and I''ll have to say that will probably stay my favorite piece!

Oohh i forgot about gehry!! Yes i love his torque design.

I have two peretti pieces, sevillana and round pendants. And i adore them. And there are a few other peretti pieces i want to get my hands on, especially the teardrop hoop earrings. But in general i admire picasso''s style more ....not sure why

and i love her red lipstick, she''s just too cool

Count me in as another Peretti fan. I''ve always loved the bean -- must be the Chicagoan in me

My favorite is Diamond''s by the Yard.

My SO''s BFF just got me a Peretti piece which I love. I really like her stuff and Picasso''s heart pieces. But I''m not a big Tiffany''s fan because I don''t believe in paying extra for a name. Just MHO.

mmm tis definitely true, their mark-up is ridiculous.

But then look at how influential their designs are and how copied? They arent very well thought of in general on PS, but how many people have replicas of the tiffany setting, or DBTY, or the legacy.

I wont buy an ering from there in the end im sure, but for their silver stuff i think you cant beat em'' for great, timeless designs and quality.

Okay, so I dropped by Tiff''s today to browse a little (was so disappointed at the lack of colored gemstones at my local store

), and I''ve decided that I really like some of the Torque pieces. I don''t think the white gold/diamond ring was particularly comfortable, but the necklace that looks like the ring (the angular one with diamonds) is pretty.

Paloma Picasso...I love the hardness of her designs...I have many of her hearts pieces and XOXO pieces! They are my signature jewelry pieces that I am known for!

THAT''S what I''m saying! I myself prefer the real stuff instead of the copied. And no, not because IT IS Tiffany. But because they are the "original designs" and the way I see it is- create something completely different with it''s own uniqueness and don''t copy the real stuff.....but that''s just me...
