Anyone know of any really great bridal salons in NY/NJ that have a large stock of Jim Hjelm BM dresses. I went on their website and got a list of stores in the area that carry them; however, I find that when I actually get to the store they tend to not have the newer ones that I see on the website. Thanks ladies!

Bridals by Danielle in Philly had every style (though not in every fabric, but they had the fabric samples, too) when we picked out dresses for my best friend''s wedding (that was 2005). It''s in Center City, so its only a train ride if you can''t find what you''re looking for closer to NY. Sorry I can''t do better than that.

Kleinfeld's has a HUGE stock, so that may be a good bet. I would call ahead, though, with style numbers.

Just know that while Kleinfeld's is cool inside and they have a TON of dresses, you will definitely get the hard sell. A woman was desperately trying to get me to buy a dress that made me look like Scarlet O'Hara on crack. As my Dad said "That dress just ate the wee one."

So, go in prepared to fight off commission based sales, and enjoy the dresses!

ETA: I just noticed that you are looking for BM dresses, so the hard sell might apply as much. But, I think Kleinfeld's has their own bridesmaid store, so it may still be a safe bet.
