woot!
I have been sooooo impressed with Julia Kay Taylor of etsy.
From inception to completion she has been wonderfully kind and helpful on both of my projects, and all of the "progress pics" she provides along the way are heaps of fun and a great keep sake.
My three stone ring was finished yesterday, I likely won''t receive it for about 2 weeks but I thought it would be fun to show the evolution of the ring here, and Julia also took some pro pics I can share now.
Stats are:
centre - Barry peachy pink tourmaline, 2.4cts, ~8.5mm.
side - oval violet spinel, 0.35cts.
and side - OEC diamond, 0.4cts. confirmed as L/M colour, but from the pics and Julia''s account it appears the YG has really bought out the yellow tint in this diamond, for which I''m not complaining.!
I know the combo is a lil unusual, but personally I think it really works.
The design was inspired by one of Julia''s completed rings, and she was fantastic at taking
my ideas and bringing it all to life.
Setting is Argentium Sterling silver with 18k yellow gold
bezels (sides are half bezels). Julia also put 22k YG on the top of the tourmaline bezel, which I thinks
looks awesome
Firstly, the loose stones:
