July 2 = BIG day

I know it's not until tomorrow but:
Exactly 10 years ago on July 2nd around 6pm Mountain time.......I met my boyfriend and fell MADLY in love and never looked back!!!!!! I can hardly believe that it has been 10 years already. We always consider July 2nd to be our anniversary, I knew from the start he was "the one." Not sure how I knew, I just did!

Wow, a WHOLE decade has gone by and I love him more and more with every passing day. It may sound cheesy but its so very true!!! Im still SOOOOOO much in love with him.

(I always kind of wanted a July 2nd wedding with him too.

So I also picture the day as my possible future wedding day. lol!

Maybe in the following years to come? Say, Friday July 2, 2010.....Saturday July 2, 2011.....or Sunday July 2, 2012) lol!
Who knows what would happen or even if it would be a different date!

Anyway, I just wanted to share my excitement! Its a HUGE milestone.

Im not sure if he has anything planned for our special day or not.........(plus my birthday is next week July 10) so who knows. Im not expecting anything but would love some dust!!!

ash- I completely agree with you, sometimes it feels like forever and sometimes it seems like yesterday! We were both 16 with me turning 17 the next week and him turning 17 that September. July 2nd in the next 3 years falls on a great weekend day!!!! Thank you for the dust! We have a "general" timeline which I believe a proposal is anywhere within 3 years from now.

keepkingthefaith- Thank you so much! As of right now, Im not sure of any plans at this time. Who knows, we may just stay home and watch a good movie.......then again, maybe I should try making that engagement chicken everyone is talking about. But Im a vegetarian so I wonder if there is another "engagement" meal I can make?

I found out he will be taking me out to dinner tonight to our favorite restaurant.

I can't wait! Im pretty sure he wont propose tonight, but obviously the thought has crossed my mind and made me feel a little giddy.

How could it not? I will be putting my camera in my purse (just incase)

Though I honestly doubt it would happen tonight. But, I have to go prepared anyhow HA! (and since Im pretty positive it wont happen right now, I shouldn't get excited because then I dont want to feel let down, you know?)

As far as a gift.......well my birthday is July 10th so he might not give me anything tonight but will for sure give me a gift on my birthday. THAT is something else to look forward too!!!!!! Too bad our anniversary is so close to my birthday!

and I agree it is awesome to know another long timer there not be many of us around we were young when we first met as well (I was 18 he was 23) and there is no way I would have been ready for marriage 2-3 years from when we first met

Last night was fun, we went out to eat at our favorite restaurant. We were going to go for a walk afterward but it got super windy outside so we opted not to do that.

There was no "blingy" gift

Which was fine because I wasn't expecting that to happen last night anyway. BUT! We made a quick stop at the Library because its right by the restaurant, he had a dvd on hold for us to watch. The last time we were there, I saw this book on diamonds so this time I told him I wanted to show him something in that book and he obliged

I showed him a short little blurb about spread on diamonds because he had no idea such a thing existed. He thought a 1ct was a 1ct but I needed to let him know that was not the case!

lol! After leaving the library, he told me I should check out that book sometime (he seemed to like it.) I asked him why would I need to check out that book? He told me because maybe I would learn something, to which I teasingly replied "Oh, I have already learned so much from PS. Besides, the more I KNOW, the worse off it is for you!"

hehe! Maybe someday he may check the book out because he thought it had some good info in it.

Or, maybe I'll just check it out and leave it over at his place!

Then we came home and watched Rick Steves in Venice Italy. It was a grand ol time. I also gave him a card I hand made yesterday out of cardboard and paint. He loved it! He said he was sorry he didn't have anything for me other than taking me to my favorite restaurant, but that he has a gift for me next week!!!!! So Im looking forward to that!!!

Oh, and I forgot to tell him that he sort of did give me a gift.....this past Saturday he bought us tickets to see my favorite comedian Lewis Black next month, as well as tickets to see Coldplay in November!!!!!

choro- Yep. You can look on your local librarys'' website search engine for just about ANY movie you can think of. New and old. Then sometimes they have a specific movie within your county but not at your library, you put in a request, and the other library sends it to your local library. You pick it up, and watch it for FREE!!!!! My boyfriend does this all the time now. Im not talking just crud movies that nobody watches, Im talking ANYTHING!!! Its pretty cool and quite the money saver.
