June Brides-Only 1 month to go...

Hello my fellow June Brides,

Oh my goodness gracious, can you believe we only have 1 MONTH LEFT...AHHHHH...CRAZY!

As the first one to bite the bullet in June, and seeing as how I am exactly one month from my wedding (6/6/09), I thought I would check in with you ladies and see what last minute things you are rushing around doing. Here is my list:

To Do:
- Finalize lighting and music for reception (will do week of)
- Get bridal purse (?)
- Get Favors (still not sure if we will)
- Male OOT gift bags (week of)
- Order/Make programs
- Do seating chart (I am already getting a headache)
- Finalize honeymoon (We have paid for a honeymoon in Mexico; technically we are still on, but that could change in the coming weeks...UGH!)
- Gift for FI (bought him a watch at Macy''s this weekend, YEAH for big sales!)
- Pick out ceremony/reception music (working on it)
- Decide on vows
- Make timeline with day of planner
- Decide on order and proceedings of ceremony
- Finish dance lessons (2 more to go)
- Finalize rehersal dinner location and menu (last minute, I know...)
- Finalize cake flavors with baker
- Get marriage license (will do it week of, since we have to get it in FL)
So I think that is it for my punchlist. How are my other June brides doing?

What I have left for my 6/20/2009 wedding.

- send finalized menu choices to venue
- choose rehearsal dinner food and drink
- assemble and send out invitations
- send invitations to casual day-after reception
- make veil
- final fitting
- finalize bridal party gifts
- finalize parent gifts
- choose ceremony readings
- find ties for groomsmen to wear
- get FI''s suit re-fitted and pressed
- find shoes for after party dress
- rehearsal dinner dress
- seating chart

Have you ladies found that whenever you bump into someone you haven''t seen in a couple weeks they ask if you''re busy planning?
I feel like I''m done planning, and I''m just coasting until the wedding! Maybe there''s something I should be doing that I''m not!

We do still need to:
- plan rehearsal menu
- plan reception menu
- create schedule/timeline of reception
- have final fitting
- get fiance some new shoes!
- get BM/GM gifts
- and parents'' gifts
- choose music
- make favors
- create seating chart

Well Im officially finished with my UNDERGRADUTAE studies as of yesterday...so now im completely commited to finishing this wedding stuff

i cant believe its a month away!!!

What I have left:

Finalize dessert Menus
Make the menus
Finalize Wedding ceremony program
Make the programs themselves
Get FI shoes lol
Book limo (although i really dont want one but everyone thinks is convienent and the guys really want one so...w/e i dont really care)
Marriage license
Umm plan the rehersal
....Remeber to relax....
finalize floral decision
finish decorating the vases
pick up candles for centerpieces
Mail out invitations (actually thats being done tomorrow)
hmmm....
oh decide on where to take pictures afterwards


i cant even remember what else im missing, so now im worried that im forgetting something that i should be worried about...

Now, if only the remaining 6 people would just go ahead and send in their response cards!! I have:

- Print menus, place cards, table names (I just have to give the company a go signal to begin printing, which will be done once i have final numbers in)
- Write vows!!!!!!!!!!!
- Make a music list for DJ (Mr. Kama''s responsibility)
- Take dance lessons (Mr. Kama is also know by Mr. Two-Left-Feet)
- OOT bags (75% done, just need to bag them based on final numbers)
- Seating chart

So, essentially, 80% of my things can''t be done until the final guest list is ready.

Clairitek: Thank you for reminding me about the pesky little thing called groom''s attire, another oops, and TOTALLY need to get it taken care of! Also thanks for reminding me about the Rehersal Dinner dress. I need to get on that too.

Ugh I don''t even want to think about what I have left to do as I''m meant to be studying for my exam tomorrow. What comes to mind is:

Bridesmaids shoes and accessories
Underwear for myself
My jewellery
Groomsmen Pressies
Mass Booklets
Pick our cake
Talk to all the vendors and make sure they''re all still ok with everything
Favors
Seating Chart
start my fittings
meet florist

I''m sure there are lots more but I just can''t think of them at the moment. Can''t believe we''re all nearly there though-woohoo!

06/20/2009 is almost here..ohhh my Gosh!!

Okay so this week I had my bridal portraits done and picked cake flavors.

So here's what left that I can think of:
-2 girls have their fitting tomorrow, one more probably middle of May
-Pick out which photo I want as my bridal portrait from my proofs.
-FI needs to be fitted for his tux, but we do have them all picked out.
-3 groomsmen also have to be fitted.
-The invites need to be fixed..don't even get me started on that. Hopefully we can mail them out by Tuesday.
-Bridal shower invites need to be mailed.
-Bridal shower.
-Need to finalize choices and finish paying florist.
-Musical selections for musicians.
-Finish vows, only have one draft.
-Must play/do not play list for DJ.
-Finish my DIY projects.
-Final walkthroughs and all the other final payments.
-I need a camera for the honeymoon!
-Book the car for the honeymoon.
-Jewelry for the BMs.
-Escort card/table card things

Ahhh it's getting so close!!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! Approx. 6 weeks left for me. I can''t believe it''s almost here!!! After 13 months of planning!!!!

I am starting to get very nervous! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I have a second hair trial this sat. Should be fun. I am also going for my 2nd fitting next weekend. All the major stuff is done. I just need to meet with all my vendors again again our officiant. Everything else is done me thinks.
