hi all.....

ugh....it''s been a year and 4 months....and it feels like 10 times as long! everyone around me is engaged, i have to help a friend pick out their wedding gown week...trying to stay ''positive''...a llittle frustrated with his mom telling me ''get a short term lease at your apartent if you are renewing, under 6months'' and ''wonderful! when you help you friend look for a dress....look for yourself, that way when it''s your turn you''ll know exactly what u want''....seriously...wheres the ring????????....i feel like, talk is just talk..........

I am very grouchy over this....

Don''t worry about being a little grouchy, you''re justified to feel any way you want! I''m sure it would be a little hard to help a friend pick their dress. Actually, I probably would take the opportunity to see what I like

but I can understand that it''s not the real thing so doesn''t feel quite the same. I actually like thinking about the parts that come after the engagement, maybe b/c I need something to focus on, something that I feel like I have some control over. So I try to think about the wedding plans more and the proposal less.
Are you and your bf close to getting engaged? Have you and he talked about it yet?
