Just engaged and love my new ring!

Hello Pricescope,

I''m totally thrilled and I absolutely love my new ring. My FI picked it out after seeing everything that I showed him. It is just what I wanted!

I''m not sure on the specs because I don''t have the cert but I was told (of course I asked)that it is a princess cut 1.56 ct, I, SI1. I do not have specs on the diamonds in the eternity band but the band is very thin.

Thing2of2, my ring size is up for debate, when I am cold I probably wear a 5.5 but I want the ring to be a 5.75. The ring in these pictures is too big at 6.25, I currently am wearing a cheapie plastic ring sizer from Claires on it until I can get to the jeweler this weekend. I'm a little worried about resizing though as I have an eternity band...how can they adjust the size on it?

Someone who knows more about this could chime in but I think on an eternity band if you need resizing they will put the sizing beads/balls on the inside of the ring to help hold it in place.

(Sorry if I have used the wrong terminology. Still learning.)

Thanks again everyone! I'm up in the air on the wedding ring. I'd love a matching eternity band, but I also would love just a simple white gold band....or maybe a diamond eternity band and pink sapphire band? So that it goes diamond, sapphire, engagement ring.

I''m not sure if eternity bands actually can be resized...I guess they could cut a diamond section or two out and reshape the ring. You can also get sizing beads put into the ring (little metal balls attached to the inside of the ring.) If you''re taking it to the jeweler he got the ring from, they may just give you a new setting in your size, though. I''m not a jeweler, but those are my best guesses!
