I've browsed this forum off and on for a long time. I just noticed that I added an extra S on accident to my account name when registering. That's frustrating but I doubt I could change it.
ANYWAY! I LOVE colored gemstones and fancy color diamonds are my absolute favorite! I was NOT expecting or planning on getting anything soon, but I was at an estate jewelry store and found something I fell in love with. Something I would be extremely disappointed if someone else bought.
.24ctw round brilliant-cut diamonds, SI1-SI2 clarity and natural pink color
.75ctw round brilliant-cut diamonds, SI1-SI2 clarity, H-I and natural yellow color
They had GIA paperwork but couldn't find it. I bought it conditionally, when their GIA appraiser comes through in a week or two they will appraise it for free and give me a copy, and if I don't like the actual diamond grading I can return it for a full refund. I can also return it for 9 days anyway regardless. I got that in writing. Before tax it was 1760, I don't remember the exact after tax price, 1840 or 1860 or somewhere about there. I LOVE IT SO MUCH.
I feel like it almost looks like pop art. Like a clip art ring. I feel like I don't have the exactly words to describe it but I LOVE IT. I don't like stones/rings that "stick up" a lot because I get them caught on everything. For me when it comes to gems, color is king above all else. When I saw the color of these stones I just fell in love!
