I''ve been lurking for a few weeks and finally set up an accout to introduce myself since yall seem so sweet and welcoming!

My SO and I are looking at getting engaged sometime in the next year or so. So we''ve got a pretty long timeline, but I figure the less of a rush we''re in, the better decisions we''ll make on the ring. (Can you tell I''m an econ student?

I think my econ brain tends to take over, and I worry more about making a good decision than being romantic haha. So it doesn''t bother me to have plenty of time to think about all the options. I''m sure I''ll get impatient though, so it will be nice to have some ladies who understand!!

I''ve been looking around the forums a little. I really like the idea of a nice classic solitaire. It suites my style and gives so many options. I think E (my SO) likes whatever I want so far haha. He seems glad I have an opinion, and that he isn''t just having to search on his own.
