I can't believe it's happened to me again If you read my thread, "Is This Okay???" then you know how my setting got all bent out of shape with my .90ct being forced into a .50ct head. SO, I decided to go back simple for now with a 4 prong solitaire. Got it set, so excited....I always check my diamonds after they are set/sized, etc. I couldn't believe my eyes when I checked the diamond and it was LOOSE. I mean really loose. I can rock the stone back and forth and even spin it! The jeweler said "I'm sorry" and said to bring it back. On a good note, after sitting here looking at it, I decided to go 3 stone for sure. I'm supposed to be getting a price tomorrow on a whole new ring for my stones. Believe me, this time it's for sure a reputable jeweler! Fingers crossed

May I ask, are you using the same jeweler? If so...I'd strongly consider going to someone else.

@Cerulean , Oh no, Not the same one. This one I'm going to this time has done lots of work for me in the past. Always good work, but he is usually so behind. It takes more time, and sadly, patience is not one of my personality traits.

oh PHEW! good im glad...

i'm terribly impatient too, so i completely understand. but it sounds like patience will pay off...it's tough to find a great jeweler you work well with IMO!
