Karl Urban... my odd fascination

I never had posters of heartthrobs up on my wall. I never liked boy bands or lusted after any stars (Okay, so I''ll cop to Angelina Jolie, but COME ON!). But everytime I see this guy in a movie I''m like "OMG WHO is that!" I NEVER recognize him, ALWAYS think he''s hot. ALWAYS. And John finds the whole thing hilarious. We''re watching DOOM right now (it''s late, we''re bored, and it''s on) and I was like "OMG he''s hot who is he" and John just erupted in laughter and started rolling his eyes. He says, "Karl Urban. AGAIN."... I say: "who''s that?" He looks a little like the hot horseman from LOTR, only dark haired"... more eye rolling from John. I''m not good with names either, so I never recognize his name. John finds this whole thing hilarious.

Okay... so it''s late. And I''m rambling. Just thought I''d share. No particular reason.

Crushes are funny things, they kinda grab you when you least expect it. For me its Ed Norton, he''s so intelligent and that for me is something I really like in a person. I am also partial to the geeky type of men or strange looking men......I mean Topher Grace, geeeek, but grrrrr and Barry Pepper, nice. I tend not to like pretty boys although I watched St Elmo''s Fire and Rob Low was just gorgeous. Maisie, you''re in the UK so you may have seen the advert for California where Rob is sitting in a t-shirt and jeans and he is just wow looking.

Karl Urban in LOTR looked EXACTLY like a college flame/fling/unrequited love of mine (hey, it was the 90''s-long hair and the grunge look were very IN

). I could not take my eyes off him in those scenes. Plus he''s a Kiwi. What''s not to love? Sigh.

And Becks reminds me of that guy from Prison Break, who reminds me of Smith from SAtC. All good...
