Finding a wedding band was quite a journey for me. I really wanted a bezeled french cut band. I also really wanted a band that didn''t steal any attention from my e-ring. When I tried on bezel bands, it looked more like a set and what I really wanted was an e-ring with an accent piece instead of a wedding set, per se. I tried bezeled RBs, I tried all forms of pave and eternity bands (and worked with several PS vendors who wonderfully and patiently helped me find "the" band). I really wanted the Dreamer band from BGD, but I was afraid it was too much tcw and would overpower my e-ring (bad PSer, I know).

I finally decided on the 1.3 mm Beverley K band, which I got from Pearlman''s. Jason was fantastic to work with and helped me customize the band to make it as dainty as possible. I got the band plain, without milgrain or engraving. I couldn''t be more pleased with my beautiful wedding set!

Okay, okay, now on with the pics. First, just the band:

Another of just the band.

With my e-ring

Oh, and the SPECS *duh*
WB: 1.3 mm, .11 tcw., 3/4 eternity, size 5.5, SI1, F-H
e-ring: .72, D, SI1 (eye-clean), EX/EX/EX in James Allen 2.2 mm basket solitaire setting (which narrows to 1.5 mm in the front), size 5.5

ETA: look at that fire!

Because I think step-cuts look best in low light, here is a low light shot

I didn''t have any flowers around, but here are some shots on some souvenirs I bought on our wedding trip to Ecuador. First, on a llama ornament:

On a little drum we bought to use as a prop in our reception photobooth:

Slightly off-focus pic on the same drum:

On a scarf I bought in the Otavolo handcraft market:

Another on the scarf:

On my wedding shoe:

Just my e-ring:

I also bought a simple plain band, which gives me some stacking options (though I am currently too in love with the Beverley K band to add another ring into the mix):

Or. . .

And I could always go simple.

One more handshot. Who says step cuts can''t be little fire throwers?

Last one. Thanks for looking!

Thanks, Tacori! I could definitely see myself owning a couple more of these, too!

Thanks, Gwen!

Your wedding set reminds me a lot of my own (minus the teensy eternity band, of course). It''s a beautiful set, and that little band looks like it packs a sparkly punch!

So elegant and chic, katamari! I love your rings and love how that whisper-thin band sparkles just enough to bring some attention to that gorgeous asscher, as well as itself.

They look perfect together-congratulations!

WOW, perfect pairing. Classic and beautiful. Congrats!

So pretty...so dainty...love it!
