SO asked me if I wanted the ring on Friday or Saturday. I said preferably on Thursday. I'm sure he was kidding, but I'm hoping not

You mean about him asking if I want it on Friday or Saturday? I haven't told anyone about that at all---and I'm not going to!

My best friend does know that he is planning to propose before July ends and she *may* know the exact date but I'm not positive. My parents/sister/brother in law know that its also coming before the end of July but none of them know exactly when. Aside from that, I think one or two friends know that its happening soon but they have no clue its before July ends.

Yesssssss...I want to tell EVERYONE. I hope this is *it* so bad. It would be pretty good timing considering my sister has asked us to be God parents to my two nephews who are getting Christened on Sunday.

Prior to all of this, I told him a long time ago that I refuse to be in the same room as his mom until we are officially engaged (long story short, she has caused a lot of turmoil in his family and between us as well and I want no part of her). Well, her birthday is this Saturday and he asked me if I would go down the shore with him for the day for her birthday. I reminded him about the compromise we came to a while ago (me not being around her until we are officially engaged). So we will see!

I think I've become a pro at hiding my disappointed game face...which used to be but is now (and I really do put on my sunglasses when I start feeling disappointed mainly because my eyes are a dead give away of how I'm feeling). If we aren't outdoors he asks why they are on and I just say something dumb like "well the sun never sets on a badass, does it?"

I asked if he's still as scared as he was and he said no. I said "so the egg has hatched (him being the egg, hahahahahah)" and he said "yes" hahahaha. He just said he was shy with things like this (as if he's ever proposed before, lol). I just told him to not be shy, that its just ME, and to practice what he wants to say again and he'd be fine.

Is it bad that I already have some very nice shots of the ring sitting right on my desktop? Trust- the pictures will be up right after it happens and you guys are 3rd in line to find out right after family and my best friends
