What do you find the most effective way of solving the knuckle problem in terms of ring design? In other words, what kind of ring do you think looks best on fingers with large knuckles?
I find it that thin shanks are not the best sollution, unless you like wearing rings a bit loose and don''t mind them rolling around and leaning on the side. I also think designs without any stones on the shank (like solitaires) don''t hide this "flaw" and make it more obvious, but small stones (melee) on the shank are no good either IMO, cause they can make the shank seem bulky. I like designs where the shank narrows towards the sides, especially three stone rings, cause at least they provide you with an excuse why the ring doesen''t fit precisely - people usually don''t mind if width of three stones together is not exactly the same as that of the finger. I think wider shanks are better at hidding this problem, but they''re not as comfortable to wear unfortunatelly.
Any opinions? Hand shots maybe?
