Seeing that many people here are really passionate and knowledgeable about the various types of old-cut diamonds, I thought its a good idea to start a thread to appreciate one of the coolest aspects of old-cut diamonds, the kozibe effect. I know it's a bit niche, but I think people would appreciate it.
Now to qualify things a bit, I think all stones should be antique and either an Old European Cut, Old Mine Cut, French Cut and Perruzi Cut. I could be missing something, if so, let me know. I especially would love to see rarer cuts like the French cut and Perruzi cut.
I'll go first. This M VS2 OEC was my first diamond over 1ct (1.28cts) that i've had, which came from a vintage gypsy ring. I wish I had better pics of the effect, ehh next time.
