#TBT L is for lovely... my GOG OMC!

I love this stone.

After a long search, DH and I finally decided on this little lovely to celebrate our 10 anniversary! To be honest, I was a little leery of the L color, but after a while I figured why not... I already have a H&A rb D color w/ strong blue fluor, so why not go for the opposite end of the spectrum (kind of...)? And it is lovely! It is definitely not "white", especially compared to my D, but by itself it stands it's ground as a beautiful little creature, and the color seems to fit it.

I was also a little apprehensive about the finished product, as I bought the stone and the setting sight unseen, so opening the box was a surprise for sure... and I loved what I saw! The setting is a tapered Stuller Solstice which GOG then added their H&A pave to, finished off with double prongs - it just looks terrific! The whole thing reminds me of lace.

I have to thank a few people - Jonathan for his infinite patience and knowledge, Marie for all her assistance during the setting phase of this project, and lastly Arjunajane... who started this whole obsession in the first place with the pics of her little beauty!
