Lab certification question

Hi everyone,

I am currently assisting a friend in her search for a jade bangle. She seems to have fallen for a bangle on ebay. The bangle comes with a certificate from the Nan Yan Gemological Institute. My preference for jade items is having them certified and tested by Mason Kay and I have not heard any information about this lab. Does anyone here have any experience with NGI and/or know if they are a reputable lab?

Nanyang is a reputable lab based in Singapore. I'm not sure of what high tech equipment they have for testing jadeite though, but think that the basic testing for filling, dye, synthetic and such should not be an issue for them.
