It''s official- we''re getin'' hitched!!!

BIG THANKS to Jonathan at Well Adorned--- we can''t say enough fantastic things about his customer service and the amazing quality of his work. I''ll let the photos speak for themselves, but we are completely over the moon over this ring and would be thrilled to answer any questions. His workmanship is truly unbelievable. It''s so intricate- I feel like little fairies must have made made it!

My fiance''s birthstone is diamond and his name starts with a J- so there is a J color surprise diamond on one side. My birthstone is an opal, but I didn''t want to use an opal as the other surprise stone because I was afraid that diamond cleaning solutions would damage an opal. So, we just used it as an excuse to use a pink diamond for the other surprise stone

I agree with doll, it looks like a 4ct diamond. No wonder its too fuzzy to photograph, its all because of that sparkles you will get from such a setting. I really love that setting, it looks soooo blingy. Congratulations!!!!

As for the ring stats, I''ll have to let Jonathan (Diamond Explorer) correct me or fill in the gaps. I believe the melee are I-J color and 1.3 mm in the halo and 1.8 on the shank.

We had it made in a size 6 (I bought sizing rings on ebay and everything to make sure I did it right) and it turns out that -- as scared as I was that it would be too small-- I measured for my KNUCKLE rather than my FINGER--eek! I probably should have done a max of 5.5 instead--- I currently have scotch tape wrapped around the backside to keep it from rolling around.

I''ll tell ya- it''s always something! So, I will either have it sized or have sizing beads put in. I plan to call Jonathan tomorrow to see what he thinks would be best.

icekid- Thank you! And yes, Well Adorned is a new-ish company, started by Jonathan Klemt- and I predict will not be unknown for long! I found him through Pricescope- I think my fiancee would agree that Well Adorned was the best decision we made in the design process.
