Greetings PSers!
I'm happy to report my 14KT WG bezeled milgrain studs are enroute to me via the wonderful Yekutiel and Luann of IDJewelry. I've been drooling over them since the first pair surfaced a while back on PS and this week I took the plunge. My pair are itty bitty, at .50 tcw for the pair but I suspect they will be lovely - F/G and SI1, totally eye clean and, according to Yekutiel, you can see baby hearts and arrows YAY! Mr. Davidov was WONDERFUL to work with - he's so darned nice and easy to chat with. I can't wait to order a matching bezel pendant! One thing at a time though.
As an aside, this pair will actually be my third real pair of studs. My first was/is a .65 tcw pair of GORGEOUS emerald cut E/VVS1 studs I received as an engagement gift from my first husband. While they are to die for, once the marriage went south I wanted something less painful to look at. They are truly lovely though. I ended up Blue Nile-ing a pair of 1.2 tcw round brilliant studs in plat and after about six months I realized they were yuck. Enter new man, new life. While I haven't received my e-ring from my soon to be FH, I know the stone is a transitional round and thought the IDJewelry studs would be perfect to go with the eventual ring. Here's Luann's glamour shot - my photos will come when these beauties arrive.
Thanks for looking!
