Sounds like something from Bath and Body Works or one of those shops...

...but instead it''s gems!

Sorry for the fingerprints.

Very pretty.

Gorgeous Freke! Ugggh I want your lavendars!

Ok now for the vendor pics.

Tourmaline Necklace(J) 1.44ct., 7.9x5.2mm tourmaline in 14K yellow gold[Gec]. This tourmaline from Mozambique is a medium to medium light minty green which did not come through well in my photo. It is eyeclean, having a small bubble-like inclusion which is visible in the detail photo and a fine, needle-like inclusion. It comes with the 18inch Stuller chain pictured. BB

Violet Spinel (Tanzania) 0.92ct., 5.03x6.12x4.13mm. (Spin269)

An understated stone with a lot of pop & flash.

From Peter Torraca

And then LIB''s spinel.

Lovely stones, is the Tanzanite unheated?

Thanks ladies!

No tanzanite. The stone to the left is a sapphire, and the others are spinel.

My bad I read too fast, , my favourite is the one cut by Peter Torraca.

I though this was a thread about herbs - and was like, "why would they discuss them in the CS section"?

Lovely pieces, that pendant is amazing (YG looks kind of pinkish in some photos, thought it was RG at first) and the violet spinel is really beautiful too.

Lol. They could definitely pass for tanzanite, so I''m not really surprised. I love them all. They are all so very different from each other...

Ma re, you are a nerd.

I didn't realize it was yellow gold when I purchased it! I thought it was white from Barry's picture. Not phased by it though.

Unfortunately, I have absolutely no idea how to set any of the lavenders.

Lovely lavenders! Do you think you could post even more pictures of the sapphire

? I''d love to see. What do you think of it?

ah freke what lovely lavenders, you have been busy!
Do please post some more individual shots of each - they are all very pretty, I love it how each has a slightly different hue of lavender.

Do you have a fave?

Freke you mentioned in the other thread you may send one back?
Which one and how come..?

Freke the Sapphire from Gene is gorgeous! I''ve had that on my radar for a while and wondered what it would be like in real life. Now I know and it''s even better! Many congratulations on your lovely purchases.

Freke-all you new stones gorgeous!

May I ask who LIB is?

I''d be interested to see the lavender cushion set in RG. I''d probably go for WG for the octagon and consider something two tone for that large oval. But that''s just my opinion.

P. S. Nerd?! Me?! Naaaaah. OK maybe a little...

I love the oblong shaped lavender the best, but all the lavenders are lovely.

Laura

Lovely.

Wow, beautiful stones, Freke! Are you going to create a different piece for each lavender stone or combine them into a larger one?
